Much more exotic on the nose than the Montée de Tonnerre, offering scents of yellow peach, passion fruit and mango accompanied by emerging spicy oak; more Chardonnay than Chablis today and still in need of further élevage. Fat and sweet in the mouth, displaying a spice character shading toward curry.
