Our cellars are rated for quality based on:
✓ How the wine has been stored
(i.e. underground cellar, vintec fridge, etc)
✓ Cellaring temp – between 12-14c
✓ Cellar humidity – between 65-75%
✓ Amount of lighting the wine is exposed to
(should be as little as possible)
✓ Ventilation around the wine
✓ To ensure the wine is not stored near chemicals/strong smells
Buyers also have the chance to provide feedback on the quality of the wine received from the cellar and this is used to assist with providing a rating (i.e. 5 star rating on the cellars).
Feedback is captured based on a number of factors including wine quality, wine availability and delivery time.
