Frontignac is a sweet muscadine wine made in Frontignan (Languedoc), France. Frontignac, sometimes with the words ‘white’, ‘red’ or ‘brown’ attached, is an alternative and widely used name for muscat à petits grains. The term is often applied to table wines made from the variety; fortified wines use the abbreviated classification of muscat. It is a superior grape to muscat gordo blanco. Food parings: Ripe berries or tropical desserts, fruity cheesecakes and pavlovas.
