Gewurztraminer (Gewürztraminer in German-language areas) is an aromatic white wine grape variety, and performs best in cooler climates. "Gewürz" means "herb" or "spice" in German. The grapes are pink skinned and the variety has aromas of roses, passionfruit and floral notes. The variety is grown around the world in parts of Australia, Canada, France, Italy, Luxembourg and The United States.
