Moscato Rosa is a red-skinned member of the Muscat family. It is predominantly found in Northeast Italy in the Trentino-Also Adige region. Considered to be a very tasty wine, Moscato Rosa wine is made with mostly Muscat grapes and usually a dash of Merlot to give it a ruby-pink colour. The flavours are typical of a classic Moscato with a touch of strawberry. Food pairings: glazed ham, lemon and rosemary chicken, walnut and goat cheese salad, spicy shrimp and fresh berry tarts.
