Sagrantino is an Italian deeply coloured grape variety that produces one of central Italy's most tannic red wines. Produced mostly in Montefalco but it also now used in certain Australian wine regions. This wine can be described as both sweet and savoury and has a profile of black cherries, blackberry’s, spicy and earthy characteristics. Food parings: Sausages, Beef Tacos, Wild Roasted Pigeon, Wild Mushrooms and Cheese.
