Sauvignon Blanc – Sémillon is a blend of two different white wine grapes. The production of this blend is most widely made in France but has made its way to Margaret River in Australia. Sauvignon Blanc is a refreshing fruit-driven style and has tropical flavours whereas Sémillon is heavier, with lower acidity and has a slightly oily texture. Blending the two grapes together creates terrific structure and weight. Food pairings: shellfish, fish, young goats’ cheese or salads with goats' cheese and spring vegetables.
