Tokaji Blend (“toe-kay-ee”) is the term used to describe the wines of the region Tokaj (“toe-kay”), in Hungary. The grape variety that makes up the basis for these wines is Furmint. There are several other grape varieties that make up the remainder of the blends and four different styles of wines that are produced. A dessert wine that is rich and dry. Food pairings: Foie Gras, Sichuan and Thai dishes, Blue cheese and Dark Chocolate with orange, Christmas pudding and Roast pineapple.
